my bf asked me what i wanted and he started naming off all this stuff and he said earrings and i said no i dont like earrings cuz i really dont and he got them! and i dont like them at all
why didnt he listen to me?!
and i have to wear them so i wont hurt his feelings but omggg
it makes me mad cuz he dont listen to me.

First thank him for them but tell him the truth that you don't like to wear earrings and want to trade for something else that way he won't get mad.

If he didn't listen to a word you said, especially if you emphasized the fact that you don't want earrings, and got you what you didn't want, you have the right to tell him straight up. He hurt your feelings, so you can hurt his back by not wearing his earrings. Tell him you said you don't like earrings and you said so. If he still doesn't care, then he definitely doesn't care about you. So you should end the relationship.

Pretend you like them but then if he asks why you're not wearing them say that they don't match your clothes.
And ask him not to buy you earrings next time - suggest something else so that he doesn't make the wrong decision.

You could just say this is really thoughtful but i'm not into that and give him some ideas. Keep them unless he says to return them so if you do hurt his feelings it wont hurt them as much if you keep them.

Men struggle with these things, I agree with Screech-- say thank you and wear them as often as possible and make him feel good inside for trying to do something nice.

If I was you I'd love them anyways because they were from him. But you could try telling him that you only want to wear them on specail occassions so at least you won't have to wear them that often...

Be gracious and say thank you. Maybe he thought you said you didn't want them because you thought they were too expensive? Wear them to make him happy, it won't kill you!

just try to wear them once or twice and claim that you don't want to wear them too much cuz they are sentimental

i would be like... awww that was so thoughtful and like wear them once or twice when you know he'll see them and pretend that you love them.
