We are all going to die sometime of something and despite the fact that almost every day the press publishes some apparent horror story about something being bad for us, we continue to live longer and longer. It is now estimated that a 23 year old UK male now has a life expectancy of 91.

The problem with journalists is that despite the fact that few if any have any training in scientific method, they pluck articles from learn-ed journals every day and view each as if it were an isolated entity. In truth everything that happens to us is a result of tens of thousands of different factors.

'Living an unnatural life'? What does that mean?
Most medical people have worked graveyard shift at some point, and very few of us are suited to it. This shift has the highest number of illnessess overall.
None of this is news to me.
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 04, with no risk factors except being overweight, and working shift work total for about 10 of my 30+ years as a nurse.

most of my family work night shifts in the medical field we have about 6 nurses 5 doctors and 4 HCA in my family and all of them prefer to do the night shift and no of them have developed cancer and and we have 4 members of our fasmily who worked for the NHS and they all prefered night shifts who are retired no of them have cancer or have ever had cancer so screw the article its BULLSH!T

also if more evidence is provided in this field to suggest cancer watch out cos if i get cancer ill be claiming compensation for night shifts when it causes cancer.....lol

I think you would make a lot more sense if you used your spell check option before you post your questions.
