The answer really is in the plan that your sister has with the phone company. Most plans today include longdistance in their rate, some don't. Some make you pay for incoming, such as on cell phone, others don't. It isn't the plan that your friend has, but the plan you have. You should be able to go on line and see what is included and what you have to pay extra for.pp

If you are using a cell phone, you had better talk with your phone co. to be sure. Plans vary from one to another. Don't just take someone Else's word for it. If you are using a land line, then the caller pays.

If he calls you, he pays, unless he calls you collect, in which case, you pay. When people call you collect, an Operator will ask you if you accept the charges-you either have to agree or not accept the charges.

Yea, if he calls you then there is no charge for you... only if you are making the outgoing call, then they charge you....
