Years ago, when I had kibble fed dogs.. I used gardening lime sprinkled on it and left for a day.. and then water. It melted away.

Because you are pregnant, I suggest hiring someone to do it. There are various people in most cities that will clean up garden's for about $50-100, depending on how much there is. If you need a number for one of these agencies, contact your local dog shelter or animal services.
It will eventually turn into fertilizer, but it won't happen until about 4 or 5 months after the ground thaws (so probably not practical).

I don't think you have a choice. If you're pregnant, then you may as well get used to scooping poo ahead of time! After the first few, you won't smell it. Just put on the disposable gloves and get shovelling. It doesn't make good fertiliser, so just bag it and bin it. I call it a sh*t patrol when I clean up the garden after my dogs. I do it about twice a week. Plus all the poos they do outside the garden. You get immune to it after a while - so long as they're solid!

1) Get wheelbarrow, shovel, hoe, gloves and a trash bag.
2) Line wheelbarrow with trash bag. Put gloves on hands.
3) Use the shovel/hoe to pick up dog poo.
4) Place the dog poo in the bag.
5) Repeat steps 3 &4 as many times as needed.
6) Tie off trash bag and place in trash can.
7) Place trashcan by curb on pick up day.

if you have children keep them out of the garden for 2 years that is the time that it takes for the soil to be safe and free from anything your children might get from the soil. In the mean time you have to remove it you have no choice bin it it is unpleasant but has to be done if you know where the previous owners are return it to them.

Thats kinda a hard question to answer because if you turn the water on it it really stinks bad.....i can tell you from experience ma'am.....so hmm might wanna consider putting sand on it i guess or if its rainin alot then you can let the rain do the job and dissolve it.

get a small trash can, put 2 bags in it, then get a rake - not a leaf rake but a heavy garden rake, most people use a shovel but a rake is better, and put the rake under the poo, lift it into the bag, and continue.

Dog poop is not fertilizer. You don not want to leave it there. The only way is to get a pooper scooper and get to scooping. Or last resort if there is a service in your area that cleans poop, pay them to do it.
