There should be a law against asking these kinds of questions because if I announce what religion I am, I will be tortured, terrorized, criticized. Where's my freedom of religion that everyone in the west is boasting about? How can I have freedom when I'm constantly being pounded at by others? When will people learn to respect others? If I would feel a spec of my announcing my religion would have and educational and sharing experience for others, then I would openly and freely hold my head high and do so. But to my disappointment, I renounce this fake idea of freedom of religion and I refuse to say.

Religion is man made, in my opinion, I really don't follow any denomination. I am spiritual, which means I read the Bible, believe Jesus is the true Son of God, my Savior.
The concept of God is hard to follow for a lot of people who are not open to his teachings. We are not meant to know all, or WE would be God.
Did you only 'try' to pray once? Believe me, he was there. Maybe he is testing your patience and obedience. May be you will never know unless you go after him with gusto.
He has tried to help us and the planet. He gave us the Bible and told us what was going to happen to us in the end. It's all spelled out in black and white. All we have to do is abide in his will. The Bible also tells us we will not pay attention and one day, when no one least expects it, it will be over, and many people (religious or not) who 'thought' they were going to Heaven, will not, because they were really NOT Christians, they believed their own theology.
Hope this helps you, dear one.

1. God didn't come from anywhere he just was. One of those great mysteries that are tiny human brains won't be able to wrap around until we meet him
2. When you pray he was right there listening. Sometimes he doesn't always give us the answer we want. Hint: Praying sincerely from your heart is really effective. Sometimes you just need to listen.
3. God has given us down here free will. We can choose to love eachother or hijack an airplane and ram it into a building. He's not going to force anyone to love or follow him.
He has helped this planet ie: the flood (Noah, the ark etc. ring a bell?) How many times do you want him to bail us out? Again we have free will.
Don't blame God for the crap that goes on down here. That's all on us.

I am Christian
because Jesus Christ died for me and has given me life and for all who will also come to him
God is and was always there See the bible and it will say
I do not know why and how you prayed and with what intentions but if you are really serious and want to come to god He will answer you .
God is always there to help but also God's ways are not our ways sometimes. Once sin entered the world pain and suffering and physical and spiritual death also came with it. That is what disobedience to God does
All the answers can be found in the bible

Where did God come from? God, the Eternal Father, came from Holy Parentage just as Himself from eons uncountable.
Where is He when I tried to pray? He is there, but unless you exercise true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ chances are strong you won't receive the answer you're searching. Faith begets miracles and answers to prayers. If you don't have it, you must put yourself in the manner to receive.
Why doesn't He help us and the planet? God does help us, but He also has given man free agency to choose as we will, taking the joys and consequences thereof. God will not force anything upon you. The planet will survive until the Lord returns the second time and only God the Father knows when that will be.
God expects man to exercise free agency and initiative, to ponder out the problems facing them and take corrective action appropriate to the predicament.

Wiccan student.
The divine is everywhere. It cannot be limited.
The divine does not play favorites. Only petty shortsighted humans do that. Some prayers are either answered in a way you didn't foresee or are better left unsaid.
The planet is our responsibility.

You cannot be a so called Agnostic. If I understand the term. Agnostic,s believe that the Bible is the Word of God but they don,t believe what it says. HOGWASH you either believe the Bible or you do not. You can not have it both ways. You either believe God or you do not. What you are is lost without God.
You are not nearly saved
You are not almost saved
You are lost
If you do not believe the Bible is the word of God then you are lost.

I am a Muslim. Why? Because it is the most purest form of monotheist Abrahamic religions. The Mess of war and greed could be only abolished from the face of earth. If all of us believe that there is Beneficient and mercifull God, who is above all of us, and we as humans irrespective of our color, nationality, race, kin, ethinicity, language, creed, caste, social status stand before this one Mighty God with a sense that he is our creator, deserves our regards, expects us making efforts to please Him and refraing ourselves from worngdoings. Vigorouly following ten commandments as basics for Abrahamic path and having a caring eye for life on planet. ( This is what Islam teachs). Where did God Come from? A creation asking the origins of its creator! No man in Space or in time can aswer this. He is nearer to you even more nearer than your windpipe. He constantly helps us. He gives us energy and order(system) to enhale each Breathe. He than seperates the oxygen from rest of gases, mixes in our blood, distribute it to billions of tiny cells to use it for Oxidatoin processes in thier very own tiny power plants. This energy comes in grid station of our body and except it we can't even raise our hands for prayer. So he is One who gives us courage to pray before him. For planet? I wonder why people behave as they are the principal guardian of this Planet. Its neither mine nor yours ( Though we are using it and we should be caring for it). but HE (creater) is the principal owner of this planet and HE is already mercyfull enough. He made this planet with super conceious and calculated scheme. Just look at the atmosphere of planet. From Ozone to the layer touching the crust of earth there are seven different layers of atmosphere and each one is assigned to deflect a different set of harmfull cosmic rays. so that human life caries on. Think of earth being put in the orbit of its very neighbors venus or mars and you are died. So come and be thankfull every thing he gave you becuase there are so many others who have been deprived of what you possess.
Regards Sohail

I'm spiritual.
I think the Divine is within each of us, and within nature.
But I'm also a Deist, which means I no longer believe that God gets involved in our personal lives. (I've had trouble getting answers to my prayers, too -- not even answers like "no.")
I also believe in the existence of Christ and the teachings of the Buddha.
Lots of people would say I practice "cafeteria religion."
That's OK; it works for me.
