My ex wife drinks chardonnay quite a bit. She liked the Kendall Jackson brand name, which is of the more expensive kinds. She would drink Vendange some of th e time, because money is always an issue. She preferred her KJ, but found the V "passable". Besides chardonnay, I have no experience.

it is decent wine. Personally I think it is better than that 2-buck chuck garbage. Though if you spend a little bit more, Fetzer Valley Oaks is better.

scale of 1 - 5, 5 being bets I would give it 3.5 out of 5. If I were at a party and someody handed me a glass I would be fine.

When we first started drinking wine with diner several years ago it was our fav wine. Now the only one we buy is the White Merlot.

I would rate them a drinkable 5 but there others I like better.

You know, my husband and I tried this recently and have been back for a 2nd and 3rd bottle. I, too, balk at cheaper wines, but recently saw on Rachel Ray that you don't have to spend big bucks on wine to get one that tastes great. We went out on a limb and tried this one and are glad we did. It's very smooth, similar to merlot, and no, it doesn't taste cheap.
