There was an article earlier this month from Australia (not NY) saying that they were advising their Santa Claus's not to say "ho ho ho" as some children may associate that with a nasty name for women. There was enough complaints and world wide coverage for them to recind the request.

You can still say Ho ho ho unless someone at the base tells you not to.

Say it anyway......anything else sounds really weird. Supposedly some moron thought that women might be offended because it sounds like 'ho' (slang for whore) so forbade the Aussie santa's from saying it. Personally I think the dork needs Santa's elves to kick his a$$ back to his desk.

There are some department stores in N.Y. that told their santas that they couldn't say it, because some people saw it as offensive to women. I guess they thought it had another connotation.
