Most muslims are so because of birth. From birth, they are raised in the lie of Islam, and denyed access to any information that would reveal the lie. They are brainwashed from birth.
Thier ancestors were given a choice -- convert or die or pay the punitive Jizhya tax. Many chose to live under Islam, but the economic advantages of converting to Islam often weighed in after a generation or two. Non muslims cannot participate in many walks of life, and they must pay "protection money" (Jizhya) to keep the mobs from turning on them.

There are no Jews or Christians in the Quran and the translation you are reading is a mockery of the Quran.
The words used for Jews and Christians can only be translated Penitents and Helpers.
Jews were a tribe out of 12 tribes and Christians were produced from the trick of the crucifixion in the trick of the Bible.
Islam is the same religion that the Bani Israel and all their prophets followed and is worship of One God.
Hear O Israel, the Lord our God is One!
That they may know Thee, The Only True God.(John 17:3)
Trinity is 13 Gods in one Jesus is the son of Zeus, the Sky God. Check the Baptism and the Transfiguration and the scenes at the tomb for pure Greek myth Zeus the Weather God and the Sun God tha Paul spoke to at midday.
You dont choose Islam. Allah chooses you and acceptance is up to you.

Hello.
I am not a Muslim myself but I have encouted the many-shortfalls in Muslim conduct; being naturally observant.
Muslim texts beauty is no match for the beauty of Manichaean Hymns, no competition. Manichaean hymns are believed to have even convert Christian monks(1). I find the faith I profess to be more suiting to a 'true' system.
A colleague converted on the single notion of co-claimed predictions in the Qu'ran being archieved, not to mention his constant use of the word; jinn, this of course, reveals that he is fearful of something that will not cause him harm. The only harm he will get is from himself,as he did say, he listens to music so that he ignores voices and notions in his head.
I find Islam, if done in the wrong way, is dangerous and distrubing. If someone is becoming a Muslim then they need to do it with quidance, not by theirselfs.
I intend not to become a Muslims and I will not permit any relative to do so.
Kind Regards

The vast majority are raised into it. Islam takes up a large part of their families, societies, and governments. It even takes up a large part of their day, every day (in the forms of 5 daily prayers and lots of religious restrictions). They can't leave the religion without incurring the ire of their Muslim relatives or societies. They sentenced a Malaysian woman to psychological counseling for converting out of Islam. In some societies they'll kill you for leaving the religion. In a few fortunate places in the West (as well as Turkey), there is freedom of religion, always due to the fact that there is not Islamic law in those governments.

The actual reason is much more banal- it is because your parents were brought up in that religion. The same goes for jews, christians, sikhs, hindus etc 'give me the child when he is seven and i will give you the man' is a jesuit quote. it reflects the fact that our early experiences have profound effects on our behaviour and beliefs in l8r life.
Well 'cutie just reported for obscenity'- did you think that your post represented a cogent argument and strengthened your case for islam?
Look in the overwhelming number of cases the religion of the child follows that of the parents- that is a value-free statistic.
I am not sure what kind of moronic mindset there is that disapproves of FACTS!

this is something i can not begin to understand. It is a very confusing religion. But it is a person choice and they have a right to believe in whatever religion they choose. I just dont agree with people who push their religion onto others. If i want to believe and follow i will but i wont just because i am told to.

Because it only acknowledges God and doesn't incorporate pagan myth for example God having a son who is man yet God himself. That is why I converted after being raised in a very strict Baptist home. I considered Judaism for some time but since Jews do not believe Jesus(pbuh) as the messiah the natural progression was to learn what the final abrahamic faith had to say. It says the following:
[60:8] GOD does not enjoin you from befriending those who do not fight you because of religion, and do not evict you from your homes. You may befriend them and be equitable towards them. GOD loves the equitable.
[60:9] GOD enjoins you only from befriending those who fight you because of religion, evict you from your homes, and band together with others to banish you. You shall not befriend them. Those who befriend them are the transgressors.
[2:62 & 5:69] Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a righteous life, will receive their recompense from their Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.
[3:199] Surely, some followers of the previous scriptures do believe in GOD, and in what was revealed to you, and in what was revealed to them. They reverence GOD, and they never trade away GOD's revelations for a cheap price. These will receive their recompense from their Lord. GOD is the most efficient in reckoning.
Deut 6:4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.
Isaiah 43:10 "You are my witnesses," declares the LORD,
"and my servant whom I have chosen,
so that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor will there be one after me."
Mark 12:29 Jesus answered, "The foremost is, 'HEAR, O ISRAEL! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD
Surah 112 Say he is Allah, The One and Only; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute He begetteth not, Nor is he begotton; and there is none Like unto Him.

I am Muslim because the Bibles commands ALL to worship none but him. "Thou shalt have no other gods or graven images in my name". he even prepared these words in stone and sent the 10 commandments down with the Prophet Moses .pbuh. and yet people still don't listen. so along came Islam who gives no other partnership to any other gods but Allah. and why shouldn't Allah get all the worship He made this world with out the help of Jesus. and don't you think that God would know. He knew He would be sending Jesus pbuh and yet He never once said "thou shalt have no other gods except Me and Jesus"....right? that is why i am Muslim.

As it is the only true religion…
We do not pray to sticks and woods…
We do not worship fellow humans and call them son to God…
We do not paint the prophets as horrible as they look in the so called "Bible"…
We do not support injustice…
We encourage faith based upon mind and logic rather than "inquestioning"…
We spared the life of other people of different faiths and you can still find them dueling among us joyfully…while others spared no one Muslim or else upon their conquests…
We advanced medicine, architect, math, geometry and many other science disciplines while the savage European ancestors where still living in caves…
We launched exploration and drew world maps and had scholars in philosophy thousands of years before the discovery of America…
And many many more reasons that is all inspired by our great religion and our prophet Mohammed (PBUH)……and if you had any more time or concern you can e-mail me for more info in that regard….
I believe in God almighty as the only supreme power and only creator to the universe…
I denounce any partners into his reign…
I only worship him; and never worship fellow human, myth or nonsense…
I praise his name; as he ordered me to search for him within evidence in his creation…
I thank him; as he provided me with mind and logic to find his path…the righteous path; not that of those whom earned his anger nor those whom gone astray…

Do you really want to know or you another one of them. Is this how you pleasure yourself, mocking other faiths and ignoring yours? I don't think this question will help you in any way. You are nothing but a grain of sand in this world. Happy?

That is the truth for everyone, we follow the religion that our parent chose for us.
