if you ever see him in a place where you re going, say the library, go over, look at something and say something funny about it, great way to start a conversation now dont linger too long just do it a couple times and then you may actually talk to him. i don't have a bf right now, but i have a lot of guy friends and they tell me someone who just comes up where they are and makes them laugh is always a good thing for them. make them laugh ........... just dont walk up tell a joke and walk away alright, that's scary

If he's in any of your classes, ask him about a homework assignment that you "missed". Or maybe joke with him about the teacher ("Gosh, Mr. Smith is _such_ a freak today!"). If he isn't, casually bump into him with an armload of books. Sounds corny, I know, but he'll help you, you'll thank him, and hopefully get a conversation going. Maybe you can ask him directions on how to get somewhere. There are plenty of ways, don't worry. Good luck!

More first impression advice. Ok. If your really interested, then go up and talk to him. If you are more of a shy girl then just try to get his attention. When you do, smile at him, be friendly, make sure he notices your subtle hints. If he's interested, he'll come over or smile back. That is the first step. Everything after that, you have to just go with your gut. Most Importantly. BE CONFIDENT!

Be confindent,
type in your number into his phone and go like "You should call me sometime.
Make excuses.
Bump into him or add him on myspace or whatnot and start chatting. You could just say that you added the wrong person.
Start laughing or do something to attract his attention.
Talk to the teacher. Or maybe even do something embarassing(make sure you can laugh it off)
Don't be afraid, all guys have a nice side.
