Is there any scientific proof to disprove the Bible completely without using the Bible as a reference? Because I have heard proof without use of the Bible to prove the Bible, yet I have never heard of anything other than: insult, and useless circled arguements using (in many cases) out of context verses, without reading, and understanding the time period, and use of the scripture and what it truely means in the light of everything. (ie. divorce, Moses makes it so you have to have a paper to get divorced, Jesus says only on counts of adultry, does God telling Moses this mean God changed His mind? NO! God wanted us to realize divorce isn't a flipped thing, it should only be about serious things like adultry, which is a sin, and shows adultry as serious in a relationship, not that God doesn't care about the paper, or the adultry, it was to emphasize marriage, in a whole is more important and serious than a lot take it to be!)....so please any support?

Why report a honest question? I wasn't complaining, just asking.

P.S. I don't know where it says the Earth is 6,000 years old.

Well, among many many others: how about a virgin birth? Scientifically impossible.
It boils down to faith. I get so tired of this, "I can prove this" or "ha ha, lookie here, I've disproved the bible"
Don't people realize that those arguments don't cause people to convert?
For the record, I believe Mary was a virgin who gave birth to Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the world. I'm just sick of people trying to bring logic to mix with faith (I know, the atheists will have a field day with that and other Christians will bash me, go figure. Just pointing out the truth.)

We do not need science to disprove the bible... common sense already does that.
We know for a fact there was no great flood as told by the bible.
We know for a fact that the Earth is not 6,000 years old.
We know for a fact that man was not made out of dirt by some invisible man working like some magical potter working with clay.
We know the Earth is not flat, it does not sit on a pedestal, it does not have 4 corners and is not the center of the universe, much less the galaxy or solar system.
We know people did not live to be 800 years old.
We know that angels did not come down and have sex with our women whom gave birth to a species of giants.
We know you can not create light without first creating the object or process to create light.
We know for a fact that the moon does not give off it's own light, it merely refects the sun's light.
EDIT:
To answer your P.S. Bible scholars determined the age of the Earth to be approx. 6000 years based on genealogy going all the way back to Adam in the Garden of Eden. So the bible might not directly say 6000 years, but it gives you the age of the majority of it's main characters and you can trace that back to get the approximated 6000 figure.

There have been countless archaeological and Scientific advances not to mention proof residing in other fields that render the bible inept, The universe cannot be only 600,000 years old, neither can all the archaeological finds of living organisms found past that age be just a very well perpetuated myth.
Yes, the bible can be interpreted in various different ways to contort or allude these truths but fact remains that if you never open your mind to listen to other people theorems, chances are that you will not know the reality.

Other than the distance of stars?
A Star Supernovas 6 BILLION years ago and the light is only reaching the Earth now. This Supernova is 6 Billion light years away. So, since your god made everything 6,000 years ago, this Supernova occurred BEFORE the existence of the universe. OR, the universe is really Billions of years old. Not circular there.
In REVELATIONS, Jesus states that the "stars will fall from the skies." If he created EVERYTHING, then he would KNOW that stars CANNOT FALL from the skies.

Science doesn't go out to disprove books. Science forms a hypothesis, then attempts to support it so it can become a theory. Then science continues to scrutinize the theory. It does so by using scientific laws, facts, and observed phenomenon. As far as I know, there is no current theories that coincide with anything from the bible.

You mean I need some "support" to doubt that "god" "stopped" the sun for a whole day? Are you serious??

If you won't accept the scientific observations that snakes, donkeys, and herds of pigs don't talk, then I doubt you will accept any other evidence either.

Since you're the one who believes it's true, you're the one who should prove it's real.
