One is one whom is unforgiven and one is a more proud,'' I quit' way about it. They treat me the same right? Only thing is I made the decision. Thing is all the people I'll have to put on an act for will be hurt, right? Maybe I could be both disfellowshipped and dissasociated. Would that work? Maybe they'll leave me alone if I dissasociate myself. Should I? I might really feel prouder this way. What do you think?

I'm talking about the Jehovah's Witnesses again.

All I know is I'd go from being ex-Witness to being non-witness right? I just want to be known as a normal worldly person so this might be a good way to do that. It might be great, right?

Youre right. Bad idea. I wouldn't want to lie to anyone so I guess I'll just remain like I am.

The whole point is, Jehovah will know and He will expose you. It is Jehovah who does the correcting not the elders.

I read your question a day or two ago inregards to what you are stating now. Something about one of your relatives stating something to you in this regard.
Actually there is no difference. If you no longer want the truth, that is your perogitive. No one will twist your arm. Your choice

Being disfellowshipped or if you disassociate yourself have the same results, and the congregation treats you the same.

I'm sorry neither way is a source of pride. Both point to a lack of Love for Jehovah and all that he has done for you.

Both show a lack of faith, that no matter what is going on in your life, you are saying,

"I am smarter than Jehovah",

"I don't need Jehovah", and

"I don't want to serve Jehovah"

If you have done something Jehovah hates, go to the elders and get the help you need.

If you are thinking about doing something Jehovah hates, go to the elders and get the help you need.
