Why do all the Catholics and Atheists bait each other all the time? What is the point?

It is an ego game. Some of them may bait each other, but they are not the only ones doing this. When one wants to believe that one is so right, and that others are so wrong, the temptation is to go after your opposite. If they were really secure in their beliefs, they would not bait each other. They would just state their beliefs, and why they think they are better. People with extreme ideologies, tend not to do as much thinking and reasoning, and more reacting to emotions. Not that all members of those two groups that you mentioned, are on the extreme, but some may be.

I think probably for the same reason my boyfriend and I bait each other all the time. Only thing is the activity here doesn't result in good sex.

i dont know but they both say they have the right and true religion and that they do everything that is right when the bible says you should love everyone no matter what, and like you say...they always bait each other....pity pity pity. A true religion follows what the bible says and not about what one thinks is right and acceptable.

Oops, your mistake. I've rarely seen a Catholic baiting atheists here. It's members of the fundie, nutjob Protestant sects who do that.

I'm an agnostic, and i get tired of it too. but what I'm more tired of people trying to force religion, isn't there something in the Bible about not doing that?
