Meg Lamb Chops (from my friend Meg Lamb)
In some removed lamb fat, brown the chops briefly in a fry pan.When browned on both sides, pour on a mixture of 2 Tablespoons lemon juice, 2-4 chopped garlic cloves, 2 tsp paprika and 1/4 cup water. Put lid on chops and braise at med. low heat for about 20 minutes. YUM! (Keep your eye on the moisture level, to make sure it doesnt all steam away - if it does, just add more water.
Meg Lamb Chops, Mashed Potatoes (with lamb and garlic sauce) , Brussel Sprouts and homemade rice custard.

I'll be making tamale pie later, as soon as I can figure out where I put the recipe. Right now I'm having a quesadilla thing. I make a box of black beans and rice, throw it on a garlic herb tortilla, some cheddar, and nuke. It's a nice snack.

it cold and raining soon to change to snow. i'm cooking a large pot of great northern beans and ham. it takes awhile to cook it slow the key to great flavor is using a ham bone. along with this i'll bake some corn bread. this is a wonderful winter time dinner.

Home-made queso thamales with alittle bit of chili, and some salsa on top. Along with pecan pie for dessert (yeah, we eat alot of random things,lol).
