registration traffic ticket question?

a friend was pulled over yesterday, he received a ticket for expired registration. his registration is due for renewal in early Nov. is there any grace period for this offense since it is not yet Dec? Incident happened in AZ and cited sources are greatly appreciated.

There is no grace period.

i don't know about Arizona and other states, but Colorado gives you 30 days to renew your registration.
