I am an Agnostic, but I believe in God, so I try to be tolerant and respectful of everyone's personal and religious beliefs. I just do not appreciate it when Fundamentalists of any persuasion are trying to cram their beliefs down my throat. If God exists, then there are many different paths to God, all of them are personal. I don't believe in killing or discriminating against people in the name of God. That would be highly manipulative and evil people trying to get more power.
If you want to pray, please pray for peace on Earth. If you want to wear a Hijab (is that the correct word?) then go right ahead. Some of them look beautiful, really they do. We are all the same people in the end. No one is more "chosen" or more "special" or more "saved" if they carry hate in their hearts. Our whole lives will be a continual spiritual and moral struggle, even for the atheists. The Religious Fanatics of every faith for the most part seem to be the least educated and least wise people. Ignorance is dangerous, so it's wise to avoid them.

Salaam Alaykum,
Kindness even for "people of the book" because we are all the descendants of Abraham the 1st true believer in Allah SWT or one God...some people twist the Quran and misinterpret it but we are all supposed to live amongst each other in peace. It is Tribal Mullah's, Wahhabi Monarchs In the House Of Saud, and
other nations in Islam that fall under the rule of politicians and corrupt leaders that directly disobey the true meaning of The Holy Qumran and promote violence. It is clearly misunderstood that our Prophet PB UH was merciful and those who seek to fight or promote discord will endure Allah's wrath SWT because he knows the true motivations of violence. If a country is occupied and persecuted for Islam than war is justified but senseless killing is not. The Islam he founded gave women liberation to vote, get inheritance, and divorce...The rulers of these nations that persucute and kill there own people is a blackmark on us as Muslim's.
Wasalaam

You can disagree with religious people all you want. Or conversely, with atheists if you're a religious individual. But don't let that stop you from enjoying the millions of other, more entertaining aspects of life together, like movies and good food.

I have respect for religious people. I will hear them out, but unfortunately so many people have a set view of certain religions. No matter what anyone says or does they will not change their views which is very, very sad

The only religious people I have problems with are the ones who act as though belonging to a church or having faith somehow excuses them from the responsibility of thinking for themselves, or forming their own opinions.

As long as they're polite and respectful (most importantly), I don't mind them and actually find quite a few of them to be very pleasant. It's when they stop respecting other beliefs and stop listening with open minds that I have problems with them.

I wouldn't dislike them so much if they didn't get their religion mixed up in politics. It isn't exactly the PEOPLE I don't like, just the things they do that affect non religious people when we want nothing to do with it.
