Some people think that proving the ascription of a uniquely instantiated property to an object suffices to prove that all other necessarily uniquely instantiated properties associated with said object can be ascribed to it.
(I couldn't figure out how to write this in a simpler way. Sorry if it sounds pretentious.)

This is one thing that theists don't seem to ever understand.
They attack me for being an atheist, saying I can't possibly know if there's a god or not.
What they don't realize is that I agree with that statement. Whether someone believes in a god or not is of little consequence to me. I personally, don't believe one exists, but I could be wrong about that. The day that I see something that would make me think I was wrong would be the day I ceased to be an atheist.
The heart of the matter is, though... I DO know THEIR god does not exist. Their interpretation of whatever a higher power is, can be demonstrated to be the product of fictional stories, that have no credible basis whatsoever.
Once they accept that fact, they can feel free to believe or not believe whatever they want. But it's the ones that claim to know that a god exists, and that they know exactly what that god likes and dislikes, that I take issue with.

ha ha ha I started saying sentient and I ended up saying new nique new nork.
Sorry what was the question?
How would I demonstrate that he has the other properties that I associate with him?
I would say "do you suck?"
If he didn't then suck, why would I attempt to persuade others that a sentient creator exists?
Because he doesn't suck.

A sentient being capable of creating me (and you and everything else) certainly doesn't need my help to demonstrate his existence. He is perfectly capable of demonstrating his own existence and that he possesses any property (right or wrong) that I might associate with him!
Yes, the God I follow wants me to share the news with others but I don't think persuading others to believe has anything to do with his plan! More importantly, he wants me to lead a "holy life" so that he can demonstrate his existence to others using me as a living example...yikes...there's the pressure, but all on me not on others.
To put it simply, it isn't my job to persuade others that God exists...that's his job...my job is simply to follow his instructions so he can use me however he chooses to demonstrate his own existence and nature to others!

My problem is, what if someone proves the existence of a sentient creator, and it turns out to be a different creator from the one most believe in? Suppose someone proves the existence of Zeus? Wouldn't THAT be a kick in the head.

Hmmm. I'm gonna go with "Christ (God)" already lived among men for 500, Alex.
Properties? You make Him sound like a mere substance.
And why would you, someone who just told the whole world that you have no idea what His "properties" are, even be commenting on that which you so obviously know nothing about?
Parroting words and phrases around seems to be an atheist "thing" these days.

You know what, I reckon some people are born with faith and some aren't. I have a wee feeling you are in the latter...
But I believe in God from my heart, that's what we 'theists' as you say, do. Why would I even want to prove him to you? Why would I bother? The whole reason for God creating us is to see who has faith and who doesn't, if we could prove His existence then that would deem our whole existence as being futile. If and when our Lord decides to show Himself to you then He will, until then you'll just have to wait.

So far, the best way of expressing what I've seen about the Creator is "Profoundly Eccentric". But don't take my word for it. Go see for yourself, or don't.
