As a massage therapist you have a lot to contribute. Not limited to just your hands alone but with your knowledge as well. (I know for I visit services like yours on regular basis.)

There is NO SECURITY in jobs anymore no matter where you live today. If there was you would not have some 2 million homes in process of foreclosure all across United States and the Mayors of N.Y.C., Dallas, Washington, L.A., Chicago and many other cities would not be meeting right now trying to figure out how to avoid some $30 billion dollar real estate disaster in 2008.

Today's economy is GLOBAL and our incomes and lifestyle are NOT dependent on jobs availability in our city, county, state or country anymore, providing we are capable to acknowledge this fact. Now, do we want to take advantage of this new worldwide economy or do we want to fall victims to it? The choice is entirely upon us. This applies to us all, massage therapists included.

What is going to be your choice Healing Hands, Ma'am?

I have lived here for over 30 years and it has always been hard to find work in Volusia anywhere , I have always worked in seminole or Orange county because they pay much higher, this town is a tourist trap and they only way to make money is to own your own business or cater to the tourist trade.
