Learn english first of all.
It's else, and daughter, Not elce and doughter. You really only need one question mark to convey the idea that the sentence is a question. I feel bad for your daughter. I hope she won't take after your english skills.
If someone can just leave their ipod laying around like that then they deserve to have it stolen. If she deserved it then don't worry about it.

The decent thing to do is keep her i-pod and buy her a new one. I'm not condoning stealing by any means.... But if you want one that bad and you feel that guilty AND your daughter scratched it up. The best thing to do is tell her you found it outside the club (like someone else took it and left it there) and you weren't sure it was hers. By the time you found out it was hers, your daughter damaged it. This way you get a loaded ipod, she gets a new one, you pay for your mistake and teach your daughter you know you were wrong and had to pay for your mistake.

The most likely spot for it to have been misplaced is in the truck, so as the opportunity presents itself, slip it back in there close to where you got it from. That was naughty and you should be spanked.
Hey, forget I said that; I must be having an off day...(the spanking part was accurate, I was referring to the advice). I basically advised you to re-enter a second time a vehicle you illegally entered once already...very bad advice. The lady who suggested you mail it back to her was more on target than anyone. Sorry.

You shouldn't have stole it, whether you like the girl or not. You know you shouldnt be keeping it, if your having guilty feelings about it. That is also showing your daughter that stealing is ok, when it is not. You can always put it back in her truck....its not your problem if someone else steals it. Clear your concience, and teach your daughter a good lesson. Just try and save up money to buy your own.

My daughters (very expensive) ipod was stolen from her car recently. She would love nothing more for it to just turn up, no questions asked. I hope you feel guilty as long as you have it. You already know the answer to your question. Shame on you.

Take it to an Apple store. If it's registered, they should be able to track her down. As for an excuse as to why it's in your possession, you can tell them that you found it in the parking lot from whence you stole it.
If you like the songs, then upload them to your Itunes.

You are a mother and you still do not have enough maturity to know not to steal? What are you trying to teach your daughter?
Karma is a bad thing to deal with and if you don't give it back..you will get your punishment hardcore.
You did the crime, you do the time. Fess up, don't be a pussy.

If she has reported it missing, take it to the authorities and say you found it. Take it to the police anyway. If she does not report it stolen in, I think, 7 days it becomes yours anyway. That way you don't have a guilty conscience. You can always go around thinking - well maybe she didn't want it anyway.

If you don't want to give it back to her directly and in person, you could find her address and mail it to her, using her school or church address as the return address, or even using her own address as the return address.
You could also slip it into the lost and found of her school or her workplace, with an anonymous typewritten note saying that it belongs to her.
Think of this: what if someone who hates you decided that he/she had the right to steal your stuff because he/she thinks that you "deserve it"? But kudos to you for realizing that you've done wrong. Don't forget to forgive yourself.
