Here's a good link from a Russian Scientist. He proves that global warming is caused by the Sun, and not SUV's.
Being from Russia, he is untainted by the need to support "global warming" to get funding.
There are many more links that you can search for that proves the Sun is the source for all of Earth's warmth.

Contrary to what one respondent claims, your teacher bears no responsibility of providing proof, since he is supporting a scientific theory which to the best available knowledge, predicts what has been observed as far as global climate is concerned and includes the best available knowledge of the physics. If you disbelieve the scientific theory, you need to provide evidence that it is false since it is logically impossible to prove a theory to be true.
The *theory* of anthropogenic climate change can be summarized as: the observed increase in carbon dioxide and other radiatively active trace gases (RATGs) is due to the activities of humans and this increase in RATGs is altering the radiative transfer properties of the atmosphere so as to warm the planet and affect global climate.
If you want to disprove the theory, you need to attack one or more of those components. For example, demonstrate a mechanism whereby a natural system injects 2 giga-tons of carbon (as carbon dioxide) into the atmosphere per year that has the exact same carbon isotope ratio as would be expected by the burning of fossil fuels. Your mechanism must make physical sense, obey what is known about ocean and atmospheric physics, and recreate all of the known observations (e.g., show that the carbon dioxide is injected mainly into the northern hemisphere). That is just an example, I am not speculating such a process exists (it doesn't, don't bother to look). The point being you could attack any one of the components of the theory.
There are many many websites out there with all sorts of counter theories to the above-mentioned "consensus" viewpoint. However, at one level or another, they will violate one or more requirements in that they do not fit in with observations, require bizarre speculative hypothesis regarding how the atmosphere and/or ocean work, or violate basic physical laws. My favorite, because it is the one where they have really worked to make the objections sound scientific, is junkscience.org (might be junkscience.com). It generally takes at least a good half-hour to figure out where their arguments are wrong.
Good luck.

Well the burden of proof should really be on the one making the assertions (which is your teacher). If I was to say the world will end in 1 year, how would anyone prove me wrong - nobody can. It should be up to me to prove my claim.
Your teacher and every single climate scientist belong to the most partisan demographic group there is. Walk into the offices of Haliburton, any oil company or any major engineering company there will be people way smarter than the average climate scientist who understand the physics of climate change much better than your teacher and who are skeptical about man made climate change. There is no correlation between intelligence and a persons belief in man made global warming - The only significant factor is political ideology.
Your teacher doesn't believe climate scientists because they are smart. (s)He believes them because they agree with his/her politics.
Check out the link below to see who your teacher votes for with 90% certainty.
(edit)
OK - nobody has helped you much. A good source of information is actually www.ipcc.ch. Check out their latest report summary for policymakers. This is a really bad example of report writing, information is just jumbled together without any organisation. These people couldn't get jobs writing reports like that in the private sector. That's not important though.
Look at page 2 the temperature of the earth is warming at much the same rate as it was between 1910 and 1940. Back then there was hardly any man made CO2 in the atmosphere.
There are loads more examples like that - let me know if you need more.

Sorry, but your teacher is going to kick your butt on this argument.
Every explanation for the current global warming other than human greenhouse gas emissions has been disproven. I can give you some links to some old studies, but they've already been proven wrong, so they won't do you much good if your teacher knows his stuff.
You need more than help - you also need your teacher to be ignorant of the scientific evidence behind man-made global warming. I hope for your sake he's an art or P.E. teacher or something.
Good for your teacher making you research the issue though. Except he probably expected you to research both sides, not just to look for information that confirms your preconceived and incorrect notions. Or maybe he just assumed (correctly) that you wouldn't be able to find any.

I'm confused. Are you saying you've already made up your mind and now you need some evidence? Isn't that a little backward? Why don't you take a dispassionate look at the evidence and then decide. Maybe your teacher is right.

I am just wondering where all the smog's coming from, surely the sun had nothing to do with it. Its wreaking havoc on people causing respiratory difficulties. Maybe some experts on Yahoo can explain and then you can convince your teacher. You know every little bit could strenghthen your so-called arguement.

Give it up kid. People BELIEVE in global warming like they believe in religion or the superiority of their children. No amount of facts or evidence will convince them because they think their "consensus of opinion" is more important than the truth. If you try to use facts to support your side they will either ignore the facts or resort to personal insults. Just agree with your teacher and get a good grade.

Show him a link to the "documentary" (documentary, ya right) "The Great Global Warming Swindle." He should get a good laugh as he eats you and your argument alive.

its a political issue......global warming and ice ages have gone on since the planets beginnings and to think that using "eco friendlly light bulbs will do more than lower electric bills and make a dent in our atmospheric changes is silly. Ask teach about the ECO-WARRIOR cruise ship that sunk near antarctica that was looking for proof of carbon footprints-pollution.......as it sank and spilled thousands of gallons of fuel oil into the sea- bet they won"t show pictures of oil soaked polar bears now.

When you get your points together, you'd best be prepared to face the science that shows they're wrong.
Your teacher may be aware of this website, which debunks the arguments that it doesn't exist.
