Wow really! I'm still enjoying all the hoopla with this year, but sure, why not records are made to be broken, and your right if anybody can do this the Johnson, Knaus team can, sure does sound good to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I agree they are 'THE BEST" Go 48 GO!!! How about " 3 STRAIGHT IN 08" that could be the next slogan!!!

He will be a contender again next year, like he has been every year of his career. I think it will be really difficult to win a 3rd championship in a row. You have to be consistent, of course, but also a little lucky to avoid wrecks and DNFs during the last 10 races. Only 1 other driver has ever won 3 championships in a row if that gives any indication of how hard that is to do. I'd love to see that happen though, GO JIMMIE!!!! I'm looking forward to the awards banquet tonight. 3 STRAIGHT IN '08!!!!

Jeff Gordon and Jimmy Johnson, since NASCAR let them test the COT in the 06 season. Why you think Jeff Gordon couldn't do anything in 06, he was worn out from practice sessions in the COT...
Say it aint so... Childress built the first truck for NASCAR Truck Series and guess what. He won the first truck championship, good golly that's wisdom... So in turn Hendricks went all pouty lipped to NASCAR and said you did that for Childress a couple years ago, what you going to do for me? Whimper Whimper...
All one needs is the OK from Chevy to "Take one for the Gipper"... Everyone knows that Nascar will throw 7-8 yellow flags until they can get Hendricks Teams up to the front. They should have a stat on who had the most "Lucky Dogs" since the bring about of it...
Recap of the last two seasons. 31 laps to go, Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon sitting 35 laps down in 41st place. Caution, Johnson or Gordon has the Lucky Dog, they come down for the Green, Caution is out, Johnson or Gordon another Lucky dog and they gain 15 laps on the leader, they come down for the green, another caution, and gain 14 more laps on the leader, they come down for the green, caution guess who got the lucky dog and they are in 5th spot. We come down for the green flag with 5 laps to go, Jimmy Johnson passes everyone in the 4th turn as they take the green flag, caution Jimmy Johnson wins under default. (Default, the act of Jimmy Johnson or Jeff Gordon being entered into a race automatically qualifies them for the win if they have ran at least 1 lap of the race.) Next years rule change, Jimmy Johnson or Jeff Gordon gets to park their car in the garage until the race is down to the last two laps then black flag the whole field and let JJ or JG out of the garage only to have to finish the remaining 2 laps...

If they do they will have to really earn it next year. I believe it will be a tight season and chase. I think Rousch will be really strong and so will RCR and Penske.. A lot of People dont mention Ryan Newman during the chase but he moved up from 19th to 13th during those 10 final races!!!! If anyone can do it the 48 Team can Im just saying they will really earn it!!!

It'll be pretty hard for them to put together a season like they did this year, but anything is possible. You gotta admit.....as good as they were this year, they had a lot of luck as well. That's what it takes to win a championship, and it's hard to do it all for one year.....let alone three years in a row. We shall see though, as next year looks to be very competetive.

im a kahne fan myself , but their is no denying the 48 guys are a great team and are capable of winning the championship again for sure

Theres always a chance, but I think theres going to be better competition next yr, alot of teams are going to pick it up in the off season...I think the Roush-Fenway boys are going to be hot next yr as well as Hendrick, plus Jr is there also...Yes Jimmie is super..But I think Cale Yarbroughs 3yrs in a row will still be the record after 2008..

They will defenetly win. Chad is like the best crew chef Nascars ever had. He is very good at giving directions and has lots of patients. Go Jimmie
