It's hard... I think we all get like that sometimes... What I do is just give all my problems and hurts to God and let Him handle them? I know He has control so chose not to worry about them any longer. Sometimes a nice walk helps. Pick up the Bible and give it a read.
Keep your chin up! I'll pray for ya!

The numbness might be a protective thing. Maybe you just can't deal with the feelings now. Maybe that isn't the best use of your energy now.
Sometimes such numbness helps us get through really horrible times, allowing us to survive on automatic until a later date.
If you have genuine causes to be overwhelmed...look on the numbness as a temporary blessing. When things settle down, it is likely that feelings will start to come up, You can explore them then.
If the sense of numbness lasts far beyond the source of stress, or makes you be unable to function in what you need to do to meet your basic responsibilities, get some help from pros or from friends.

You need to rejuvinate yourself. Go to the woods and go for a walk. There is always beauty and magic in the wildest parts of the world, even if they're just a local, wooded park.

Exercise, eat right, and get plenty of rest. If you do drugs/alcohol/nicotine, stop. Also, cut caffeine out.
