Muslims believe that Jesus was real, but Muhammad taught his disciples messed up the true story after he died. The Koran teaches that Jesus was married and after he was crucified the disciples got into in-fighting and changed the true meaning of his teaching.

Muhammad is the Prophet who started the religion of Islam. He didn't start the worship of God, of course; that was happening already.
Many of the accounts in the Koran are the same or similar to accounts in the Bible, but the Koran and the Bible are different. When there is a disagreement between them, tThe Koran was produced long after the Hebrew Scriptures the New Testament. As the words of their greatest Prophet, Mohammed, Muslims give the Koran priority.

Muhammad is the prophet of Allah. The muslims do believe in Jesus but the difference between Islam and Christianity is that Muslims teach that Allah is the one and only God and Muhammad is his best prophet and Jesus was only a teacher or prophet and not the son of Allah. Christianity teaches that Jesus was God's son and that the only way to eternal life is through him since he lived a blameless life and died for our sins. The reason why they use the Koran and not the Bible is because the Koran does not view Jesus as the son of God and our savior.

Muhammad is the prophet who supposedly (and i mean that in a nice way, I'm not saying it didn't happen) went up to god and talked and got the rules and such from god. They see Jesus as a religious figure, but not THE figure, whereas Christians believe that Jesus is part of the Holy Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost/Spirit) and Jews see Jesus as an important figure but not THE figure. The write/believe/live by/teach from a different holy scripture because their beliefs are different and don't revolve around the Holy Trinity or Jesus himself.

yes muslims do believe in jesus, the reason why they follow a different book other than the original word of GOD is because it had been corrupted by the hands men and devils, like king james and other corrupt priest and rabbis, so GOD sent down the last revelation which he said will not be changed by anyone. Whala!! The Quran. Same message jesus and the other prophets were trying to tell mankind

Because everyone has a different point of view on who Jesus was. Muhammad is viewed by his followers as the last and greatest of the great prophets.
The Bible was not long after other religions were long-established and it was pieced and edited from them by different people of the Christian faith over a long period of time, so things are bound to be contradictory when they are presented from different and often opposing viewpoints.

Muslims believe in Jesus, but believe him to simply be another prophet, not a divine savior. They also don't write/believe/live by/teach from any Bible; they go by the Koran. Muhammad is Islam's prophet, and Muslims believe him to be both the last prophet and Allah's chosen prophet.

Who is Muhammad? Does your library NOT have a religion section? Heard of Google and Wikipedia?
It's Muslim!

You're calling the Quran " a different Bible"!

Wrong question !

Why would non Christians use the Bible?

The word you should be using is scripture with a small s to show you're using it in its generic sense as religious writing.

Some Muslims do read the Gospels as the Word of Jesus!

The prophet Muhammad was the man who recieved the Koran from God/Allah. He is considered by muslims to be the highest prophet of God/Allah. As for Jesus, he is thought of as a prophet and not the son of God.
