Does it matter?

Some things are not described in the Bible. However, to describe some things would be irrelevant and would have no bearing on the things that we are supposed to learn from reading the Bible.

I myself believe that John the Baptist was a normal man who had a very important mission--to testify of the Messiah, and to initiate and provide an imperative ordinance for people:baptism.
