I have very bad eyesight and unable to drive when i am older, at first i wanted to be in the police but i have found out that i need better eyesight. my eyes cannot be treated as not even lasor surgery can help me.

I am predicted very high grades at school but i'm not sure what job i could do when i am older because of my eyesight.

There are health and safety laws stopping me from working with any machinery or anything my eyesight may affect.

What job should i get and what courses should i take at college.

Depending on how bad your eyesight gets when you are older, you may still be able to have a well paid job, for example with computers using specialist screens and resolutions - there is a guy where I work who is almost blind and does well in his job thanks to equipment ordered by the companies' occupational health department.

You will be covered by the disability discrimination act for any job that doesn't endanger your own health or the health and wellbeing of others, so don't feel as though you have to settle for a job below your educational abilities.

I have bad eye site, but I wear thick glasses and have to pay extra to get the lens thinned. I can drive, as long as I wear my glasses. My eye site don't stop me from doing anything, as glasses help, can't wear contacts though.
You best going for a job which don't need you to concentrate on things like computer/TV screens, driving jobs some factory jobs etc......
Shop work would be OK, bank job, (lol I don't mean bank job as rob a bank I mean work in a bank lol) Call centres. Nursery work (either garden nurseries or children's nurseries)
