This is what matthew 5 says about money...
19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
24"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money
Jesus also says that "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle then for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven" Be glad you are poor! your treasure's will be great in heaven. "the last shall be first and the first shall be last"
I'm poor too! I know what your going through. The cool part is that money is evil and you dont need it! " Do not conform yourself to the pattern of this world"

He's right there with you. He wants you to reach out to Him and take His hand. Things may not get alot better, but at least you'll have someone to guide you through it all.
Love in Christ
Rachel

I know it's hard (I often find myself falling into that trap too) but we aren't supposed to necessarily find physical comfort in this life, no Heaven on Earth as it is often called. I have heard some say that those who suffer most on Earth reap the greater reward in Heaven. Let's hope so.

Of all those believers that answered, were any charitable enough, in the spirit of their religion, to offer you any help?
Don't they realise that they could be god's agent? They have so much wisdom to share, but so little charity.
Good job you were only joking.

Poverty is a lesson - pay attention. You will not prosper until you free your mind of want, and clearly understand need.

Get-up and do something about it. He never promised us a rose garden on earth but I bet there will be plenty in Heaven and no poverty..

Jesus himself had no earthly possesions and he was not ashamed. Your joy should come from the Lord not in how much money you have in the bank.
The question should be where are you because you're the one that moved away from Him not the other way around.

Where is he when you're not? You are not in Heaven, this is Earth. There will be trials on Earth, and those trials are not pleasant. When you endure them, where is your heart? Do you blame God for your misfortune rather than find a way to overcome?

If you are that poor, why haven't you sold your computer, and tv yet? And, if you are really that poor, walk to the nearest church and tell the priest or minister. They should provide food
EDIT: if you aren't at home, then you've paid to use the computer, You aren't that poor, you're just too lazy to work
