Is it mandatory by US law to include country-of-origin on a product box?

For instance, on an electrical device like a pda or phone. If you can provide links pertaining to a law please let me know. PS I already know that it is mandatory to include country of origin for food products.

I don't believe it is. I have not seen any laws requiring it, and I do a lot of importing. Just for food and drugs, and that was only recent (2002).
