Its been A little over a year and i still havent found a new boyfriend. The guys that only hit on me are guys that arent my type or just want one thing. Im a very picky girl. Anyway, when i was a sophomore, i was lets say.. a party girl, i used to do so much& date alot. i was 'promiscuous' i guess, and i thought that was why, because they thought i was a sl*t. But now, im a Senior & ive learned my lesson, Im more focused on my life now, But i really want a boyfriend. What should i do? like, if i see a guy at a club or a mall, im afraid to go up to him because i believe that the guy is suppose to step up to the girl& thats how it usually plays out. But then the guys that i want to come up to me DONT& the ones i dont want to come up to me Do. Only when i have alcohol inside me i have the courage to go up to them.. LOL. & I also notice that Guys that are attracted to me are the guys that want something else from me. I Dont think i dress "sl*tty"and i know i dont come off as a "Oh F*ck me" type. Is it my face or something? lol.. But anyway, Whats a way of getting a guys attention so theyd come up to you? I mean, i know im not ugly, So why cant i find a guy who likes me for me and doesnt want me for ONE thing.

The reason you can't get a boyfriend is because you choose not to, its not like no one has been hitting on you. It could be that you've already got a bad rep and all the respectable guys are afraid of you. Unfortunately you will have to just go up to the guy and ask him out.

Maybe you should talk to one of the guys you wouldn't normally talk to. Part of dating is meeting new people, no matter how things turn out. You have to give yourself options and if you keep turning those away that are interested while waiting for the guy who doesn't seem to notice you, you may be single for awhile. Now I'm not saying to settle for the next thing that comes along, but your "type" may not be what you need which is why your single. When going out, be confident but don't come across as stuck up. Smile, laugh and share eye contact with a guy you might like to know more about. Looks have nothing to do with it sweetie. There are lots of fugly guys and gals that are taken. You have to make sure your looking for the right things and not expecting too much because sometimes our standards are too high. Good luck!

Listen to yourself. It takes you 300 words to ask a simple question! None of us here can really tell you why you can't find a boyfriend without knowing you. But your question begs the question, why do you need one so bad? Stop thinking so much about if you are a sl*t and make yourself into a smart interesting, stylish, unique person that guys will want to know....so you don't have approach them.

Maybe it's the places you're looking for guys. Or the fact that you're looking in the first place. Sometimes love falls in your lap when you're not looking at all. Or you miss it, because you're focused on the wrong person.
Don't judge these guys you don't want to come up to you by their cover. Some of them may be genuine. But try looking someone other than a club or bar.
