I live in the mountains so collecting pine cones and pine branches is easy. We make a wreath out of the branches and also place them on the mantle and entertainment center. We have the Kindred drinking horn on a set of antlers on the mantle which is nice for decorating and being useful. We use candles and herbs for scent and light.

I decorate with a Yule tree, a wreath, red and green candles and mistletoe. I love natural materials and would love to use them, but unfortunately, my 10 cats love natural materials a little more than I do. Meaning, my cats have a tendency to chew on real trees, wreaths and mistletoe. (Not good!) So I have to use artificial. I am also a big fan of Yuletide aromas, so I often burn pine, cranberry, and cookie scented candles. Anything that smells like Yule:)

I don't decorate the whole house. I simply Make a Yule altar out of the top of my entertainment center with staues of Goddess and God, greenery (usually pine boughs and mistletoe), red and green candles and my best incense burner all on top of a bright green altar cloth that I made especially for yule and it fits the top of the entertainment center perfectly. I try to avoid getting too gawdy about it all and try to keep it as simple as possible while still giving honor and reverance to Goddess and God.

We're doing Yule/Christmas in the Bahamas this year with my family. So I'm not really decorating the apartment. :-D

Usually I try and get lots of mistletoe and pine branches and holly. That and bows and candles make up most of my decorations, since I have nowhere to burn a Yule log.

Greenery for sure. I have a great collection of Father Yule statues that I put up everywhere. I dabble a lot with scents and do as much with smells as possible. I do a Yule tree with something new added year.

Well I can't decorate my house exclusively for Yule because we all celebrate Christmas too... but it's about the same as Christmas, because my family isn't really into religious-y stuff (probably because none of us are Christian to begin with). So we have lights, pine cones, decorated tree, lots of pretty red ribbons, wreathes, and garlands. And absolutely NO giant inflatable freaks of nature in our front yard.

natural materials are ideal, but imitation holds up better outdoors. i have a pentacle, moon, and sun that i mount on the front parapet, wreaths, garland, and lites everywhere. inside, i put up 4-5 trees and string beads and garland on every surface. it's gaudy as hell, but i only have to live with it for a month. i've taken the last few years off, tho; getting to old and lazy to climb up and down ladders.
