.....and forcing this disbelief on others?
There is literally an ABUNDANCE af evidence that there IS a "God".
Yet, there is absolutely NO evidence that there is NOT a "God".

It's either that, or they would need to repent. People simply love sin and I also believe a lot of times it's a pride issue. If there is a God, you are no longer your own boss, making up your own rules as you go along. You would need to humbly follow the instruction of the one who created you. If he made you, He also wrote the manual. I have wondered this same thing before. In studying what God has to say about it is that the only basic difference in them and us, is a love of iniquity or the darkness. That covers a lot of ground... could be sexual sin, greed, pride, whatever your sin of choice. They just love it more than they want to know the truth. The Bible says that if they truthfully want to know God, He will reveal Himself to them. The problem with most is what John the Baptist preached...Repentance. Even in a lot of Christian circles today, they are purposefully leaving off the need for repentance, to come to Christ. It's not optional now, anymore than it was in the time when Jesus came. You must repent! God bless!!

Probably for the same reason that some Christians and Muslims are SO insistent on forcing others to believe as they do ('forcing' being the operative word).

A person's belief system shapes who he / she is, how the world is percieved and reacted to. So every person has a vested interest in his / her belief being right. Some people feel threatened that others do not believe the same way and act accordingly. Others may see failure to believe as they do as a form of insanity. For others, admission of the existence of God, or recognition of the superiority of someone else's God means that they have failed to recognize and live up to a huge moral responsibility and they cannot accept that weight of guilt. Others simply refuse to be morally responsible to anyone but themselves.

After engaging in apologetics for more years than I care to count, I find that it comes down to this. Any belief is a choice. Regardless of the evidence, a person chooses to believe what he / she wants. I agree that there is abundant evidence for the existence of God, but it is all subjective. If I start with the assumption that there is no God, the evidence cannot lead me to the correct conclusion. It's not at all logical, but then neither is atheism despite its pretenses. One of the first principles of logic is that there is absolutely no way to prove a negative. No one can say there is no god with any authority (The fool has said in his heart...). To adhere to logic, one must admit at least the possibility of God (agnosticism).

From there, I believe the evidence speaks for itself to any thinking person.

I think it is because people are caught up in the ways of this world and are tired of hoping for something that humanity tends to get farther and farther from every day. People become a product of their environment, and the worldly enviornment is not the way of God. Also, people tend to use God, and have throughout history, for their own personal gain. We see the corruption, but we rarely see the justice God speaks of. For the most part, I think it is a matter of adapting to the world as it exists today. The only thing I know for certain, is that I have always faced my problems alone, and when wronged by others, not once has God ever stepped in and served justice. I'm supposed to have faith that he will deliver justice after I am dead and gone? I think even God would know, that is asking a little much of a humanbeing. Don't you agree? ;-)

Why does it bother you so? Who have they forced their non-beliefs on? Is it that you are having a crisis of faith within your own mind and projecting it on these handy people? You sound like a small, pitiful, powerless man. You need to criticize others to make yourself feel better. You do not sound as if you have ever read the bible. Do you know what it says about a quarrelsome man? Or those who meddle, backbite, or are stiff-necked? You give brazen haughty advice to others but it is obvious you do not give heed to your own faults and imperfections. Which a TRUE Christian religion requires. You sound like you are on the side of Satan instead of GOD. I think you need counseling with professionals, and perhaps medication. That is my caring advice to a neighbor, such as you are.
I would strongly suggest you do a deep self-examination and go have a talk with GOD, before you destroy yourself.

Well these anti Godly people say God out of there Mouth everytime something go wrong, Oh God help me, Oh my God, now maybe they are talking about the Evil God Satan the devil, But ask them this:

Can they make it Rain?
Can they make the Wind Blow?-Can they Create Wind?
Can they Create and give Life?
Can they make the Sun go up and Down?
Did they create the Water?
Can they answer exactly what time to the micro second did they go to sleep? and wake up?
Can they give power to the Birds to make them fly?
Do they give power to their own Heart Beat?
Can they answer why Faith Defies all of Mans and Science definitions and beliefs??
Did they creat the grass? and make it Grow?
Why is it they dream? can they tell me or you what state or city while they are sleep? do they end up?
Who created the Stars and Space and the Planets??

Of course my Brother they are going to come up with all kinds of excuses and lies, the so-called big bang theory, all kinds of junk to still defy The allsome Creation of Father God in Heaven, For God said remove yourselfs from those (WICKED) People they will only trying to bring you down , see if any body realize, Father God said if we have a mustard seed of Faith so you got to remember Satan created a Mustard seed of Doubt.

as an agnostic I welcome any evidence that you can provide me with that 1 there are any gods, and 2 the god that you believe in is real... if you are uncomfortable posting it here please send me a PM or an email, thanks!

Why on earth would you assume that my request for information is anything less than sincere? You say that you have a lot of evidence, I am a seeker, not an atheist, and thus would very much like to see your information...

There's an easy road, and a hard road. Jesus tells us we have to take the hard road to follow him. Most people don't want to walk down the hard road, and misery loves company, so they try to drag as many others down with them as possible.

I'd say that as long as the sun is shining, the moon is in the sky and the stars come out every night, there IS clear evidence of God. But what do I know? I take the hard road, too. :-)

Ok, give your evidence that a god exists.

I can see you can reply, so where are your proofs? Having a hard time thinking of one?

You are saying that you are not sharing the proof because you do not want to "force" your beliefs? Ummm, does your question not violate that little personal question to begin with? Ok, I am asking, please share the proof with me. Pretty please. With sugar on top.

Oooh, now you are ducking out of the whole thing by saying that you only will give the evidence thru email. Why, is it super secret and you do not want to take a chance with a public forum.

Face it, you've got nothing.

Girl Wonder is back!!!!!!! Just when I started to think that all of the super heroes were gone!!

One phrase that usually distinguishes a lack of maturity and intellectual dishonesty from maturity and intellectual honesty ----"absolutely no". In this universe you actually have to be reasonably sharp to pick out an "absolutely no"--otherwise the statements made are not looked upon as serious--and more like unknowledgable hot air.

"SO insistent"? Do you imagine we are all sitting at our computers with our eyes shut tight saying over and over "there is no God, there is no God, there is no God"? I force my disbelief on no one. I'm not handing out pamphlets door to door or going into churches shouting down the aisles "there is no God". I (like the others) am answering your questions.
