Ok so I'm not stupid enough to do this but my friend kept bugging me about it. I told her no but she won't let it go. She keeps saying that nothing can happen to me, she would only get in trouble.. but I beg to differ. I was just wondering EXACTLY what could happen if she got caught with a copy of my ID. I live in the state of PA. Any actual proof from websites or anything would help. I couldn't find anything but I know it'd be a bad situation. Thank you! Just wanna prove her wrong!

She wants to use it to go to the bar, obviously. They scan IDs there.. mine would scan because it's real but it ISN'T HER!

You could be charged with conspiracy or complacency to the crime she is charged with. You intentionally assisted her in the commission of a crime.

It depends on the state, and what it's used for. If it is used to buy alcohol or tobacco, then here in NC, it's a $500 fine, and up to 3 months in jail, I believe.
