These answers astound me.
What is even more sad, to me, is one day we will ALL bow down and kneel. And profess he is Lord. That is scripture folks and just because you choose to ignore it, doesn't make it a fable. It just makes you blind.

Too all the "atheists"...it doesn't matter whether you believe in God or not. Not matter if you are given "proof" of His existence or saw Him in person you probably wouldn't believe anyways. It's not that you call yourself a "Christian" and then magically become one....you have to live your life as one. It's this thing called Faith. So, whatever you choose to worship is your own. Whether it is God, money, other "gods", yourself, etc. You will one day find out the truth and be judged for what you have done even though you might have been a "good" person.

Why would the almighty being need me to kneel? Is that just to stroke his ego? It we are God's children, then why could I not just stand and go for a walk with him and talk? And if that was the case that I had to kneel, then send me to hell, as I will kneel before nobody.

If I heard disembodied voices, I would see a phychiatrist. I watch the Discovery channel show 'The Haunted' occasionally. I think they would be better served seeing one themselves.

I'm not an atheist, but I think that attacking other people for their views (right or wrong) is not going to help them. Usually there are reasons people feel the way they do. Maybe you should be more understanding and try to help people - not shove it in their face. : )

After all the suffering he has allowed to happen to his "children"? I've been witness to some of it. Not a chance.
