It really depends.

Just to do a mid day walk, no food or watering is usually about $10.00, but can be cheaper if you live in a big city where the dog walkers go from building to building walking dogs.

For pet sitters, the fee is usually per 1/2 hour and ranges from $10-18. The people who do this for a living, are licensed, insured, bonded, etc. can charge top rates.

I pay mine $15 a day for 2 dogs. She's there for about 45 minutes total. She takes the 2 dogs for a walk, then plays more with the younger one when they get home.

She's also bonded, insured, registered with the National Pet Sitters association, certified in animal first aid and very knowledgeable in training practices.

I used to walk my dad's friend's dogs, he had two and he paid me 15 bucks an hour. I didn't want any money, i thought walking dogs was fun, still do, but he wouldn't let me not take the money, so i spent it on treats and toys for his dogs and mine.
