We are looking for a good dentist in Great Falls. I went to one dentist for a new patient exam and he found I had 13 cavities that needed filling, which I thought was crazy because I've only had 3 cavities in my entire life. I have gone to the dentist regularly for the past 25 years, but due to moving around a bit the last 2 years, I have not been for a cleaning for about 1 1/2 years. Does that even sound possible, to have 13 cavities at one time? I swear I don't live on sugar.

First of all, it is possible to have 13 cavities form in one year, but not (for lack of a better word) usual. Sometimes, people move from a place that has flouride in their water, to someplace that doesn't and notice an increase in tooth decay. If you doubt this, go to a different dentist for a second opinion.

I don't know any dentists in Great Falls, MT. Try asking friends or neighbors who their dentist is. If you have absolutely no sources like that, try going to www.1800dentist.com or calling 1800 dentist. I do not usually recommend this, because the dentists listed paid to be on that list. Good Luck! Hope this helps!

DID THIS DEENTIST USE AN INSTRMENT CALLED A DIAGNODENT, a laser cavity finder.? IF SO THEN MAYBE THE DENTIST PRIOR MISSED FINDING THE DECAY?
IF IN DOUBT, FIND A DENTIST WO USES ONE.
