If it is a phone from China, chances are that it comes loaded with Chinese and English. If not, some phones have the option of changing the language but few have Chinese, so you would have to install the proper language software if available from the phone manufacturer.

If the phone has the chinese capability, then yes. Some phones have the software for it, however, most North Amercia phones will not have it.

Your cell phone must support Chinese software ( Hanyu æ±è¯æ¼é³) in order to send and receive SMS in Chinese,if you do not have this facility in your phone,then send it in Pinyin.

if you cell can type in Chinese or pin yin yes you can,
go to message
new message
write message
options
input method
after that it should give you a choice of ABC, abc, numeric, pin yin and Chinese
