It sounds like you want to attempt to take your father's car without him knowing, so you came on here to get answers to see what could happen if ya did take his car. lol! Anyways, what could happen is if you did take his car and got pulled over, the officer could issue you out a ticket for driving without a license, impound his car and arrest. You may or may not have to spend the whole day or night in jail, but someone would have to post your bail. Also, it could prolong the process of you getting your license. The smart thing to do and the smart thing for your father to do is not let you drive his car.

In AZ, driving without a license or insurance is a mandatory 30-day impound. Add a few hundred dollars in fines and towing/storage fees on top of that. What's your dad going to do without his car for 30 days? I don't know where you live, but I'm sure most states have similar laws.

You will get at the least a ticket. If you have an accident and he knowingly gave you the car to drive when you have no license, the insurance will not pay for the damages.

First off, you better hope you are close to home because they will not let you drive after being stopped. You will get a ticket. The vehicle may be impounded. If you are in an accident, the insurance will not cover the costs since an unlicensed driver was involved. Your Dad will probably be in court with you explaining why he allowed an unlicensed driver to operate his vehicle.

the car is insured but you will be in big trouble if you are caught driving without a license. If you do I doubt you had permission from your father so I think if the cops do not get you your father will-especially if god forbid you are in an accident.

you cant drive with out a license.
and if you get into an accident with your fathers vehicle, dont expect his insurance company to pay out a thing.
so, what the police will do is either ticket you for driving with out a license, deffinatly impound your fathers car until HE can go and get it out, and pay to get it out, and you they may make stay overnight until you see a judge.
you cant drive without a license.

they will ticket or arrest you for driving with no license. since the insurance is in your fathers name, unless you are listed as a driver or do not live in his house, you are not covered.

you will get a ticket for no license, if you hit some one the car is insured so it's ok, but you will get a ticket for no license and then have to go to court for it.
