I agree on what you say, this should have never been brought this far it could have been resolved quietly.

The court took one complaint and made into a religious circus.

15 days in Prison who has she insulted, yes the secretary is the one who incited this hatred.

Hi,
I think the whole thing shows just how immature Islam truly is. These were kids in all their innocents just trying to name a teddy bear, and now the wanna B's that claim to be soooooo close to God (right! sarcastically written) have determined that some grave sin has occurred. And we wonder why their culture is so messed up! These people have been murdering each other for centuries over stupid stuff like this for way too long. And yes, it will take an act of God to smack these people back to reality. So to answer your question, it's their religion that incites religious hatred. They are bigots, and I'm surprised they haven't tried to behead her yet, and claim it's in the name of Allah.

I totally agree. Those children, you know they were probably thinking of their friend Muhammad, brother Muhammad, uncle Muhammad, etc., not the prophet, and that they didn't mean any insult to anybody. I also think that Ms. Gibbons should have been better trained in cultural competency before teaching at that school, and I hope her employers learn a lesson. Why that secretary couldn't have just had a quiet word with Ms. Gibbons herself is beyond me.

Its an unjust and disproportionate legal system that denies basic human rights by codifying religious puritanism that is to blame. It is hard to imagine now that there will be little other than hatred from most of the world towards Sudan's religious system.
