Yes! If you happen to be in the medical field you can get a job as a traveling medical professional. There are hundreds of staffing companies dedicated to this type of staffing.
For example, say you live in California and want to take a job in Florida. A medical staffing company will pay your expenses there, and then pay for you to have all inclusive, private housing while you work. You usually get paid premium salary as well!
For physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists you might want to try: www.travelmedusa.com or just do a Google search of your profession with the word "travel" or "housing"

Live-in childcare such as au pair or nanny will provide room board and modest salary depending on the job. Not all nanny positions offer housing, but some do, usually with less monetary compensation as a result.

In addition to the above answers I would add that some retreat houses that have overnight facilities provide housing in exchange for security, caretaking, etc.
... and how about flight attendants and pilots? I would imagine that the airlines pays for lodging on their trips?

Usually the occupation of building supervisor comes with a free apartment in the same building. But you'll be at every tenant's beck and call twenty four hours a day.
