If you do are you working or stay at home?

I feel the same way, I clean and then by the next day if that, it is a disaster again. I don't know who is worse, the dog, my daughter or my husband.

No not now, but I did have a cleaning lady that came every 2 weeks when I was working and only had her for a short time.
I paid her what she asked for @10.00 per hour she stayed 4-5 hours. She did the basics, and it kept me up on keeping mail and other things under control. I cleaned before she got here. Pickup and put away type cleaning, and the kids stuff. She did the rest, no windows. Little to no laundry. She would only change bedding if I asked her ahead of time. I considered it more of a help and not complete housecleaning. I was spoiled a bit while she was here about 4 months. Then I couldn't justify it anymore. Plus, somewhere she learned to wax the kitchen floor every time she came...I went thru a bottle of clear Future every month. I was scratching my head at that until I realized my floors were very thick with wax and turning yellow, and when my kids dropped water on them...they turned white with the wet spots....Took my husband and I nearly 2 months to strip the floor back to what it was......ya gotta talk to the maids....before you hire them and she was NOT an illegal and she spoke great English.

I am jealous too, I am the maid in my house and I am so sick of it. Seems like i do the same things day in and day out and don't accomplish much. I have a 21 month old and a 7 year old. I can clean the whole house 1 day just to have it destroyed in a few hours. It's very depressing.....lol

I do not have a maid. Would lovvvvvvve to have one full time. I My husband and I have 4 kids and run our own business. About 2 times a year we hire someone to help me clean everything. Like dusting above the doors and windows and cleaning ceiling fans just the really bad junk that seem to never get done because of time.

My mom did/does not work and had someone come every other week while I was growing up.

I work and have to kids 11 months and almost 4. I have a maid come every other week. It has been wonderful because she takes care of the big stuff like the floors and bathrooms and I tend to the other stuff. It just gives me more time with my kids.

If I could afford every week I would.

I don't have one... but I would love one. I have one friend that works full time and has one and she said that it is the best investment she ever made. I am totally jealous. I work full time and could totally afford to have a maid (every week or every other week to help me out) BUT my husband refuses to get one because his mom cleans houses and he thinks we should hire her and give her the extra money... but I refuse to do that because I don't want her judging me by how dirty my house is.

Wow, I'd love to have somebody come in just ONCE to clean just the kitchen and bathroom! I'd be ecstatic!

I work at home and that's probably the reason it looks like a cyclone struck the house!

I'm looking for a weekly housekeeper at the moment. I do work full-time and have had it with spending my weekends cleaning. I'd much rather go play with my daughter!
