I find it easier to believe the resurrection than I do to believe the infallibility and perfect completion of the Bible, so I don;t view it as a viable witness.

There is no extra-biblical evidence that Jesus Christ ever existed on the face of the earth, period. So, no, there is no evidence of the resurrection.

The most reliable source there is, is the fact that grave-robbing was made punishable by death a few years after the resurrection was supposed to happen.

Also, no one at the time ever said that the tomb wasn't empty. It was definitely empty. So where did the body go?

book by R T France ... If you really want to be a world-class investigator, check out the Jewish (Josephus) and Roman historians for what happened when the Temple fell. You will at least shiver at the horror of it. Which, if Jesus predicted, is also amazing. Of the hundreds of thousands who died during the siege of Jerusalem, no accounts note a Christian dying -- because they had been warned that it was coming.
This was one of the most compelling evidences preceding my conversion. It didn't cause my conversion, it just loosened my smart-*** way of looking at things.
