Although very pretty, a Princess House fruit bowl. The tacky part is that the box it was in was a little dusty and the tape was yellowed and almost falling off. Once opened their was some moisture built up on the bowl.

A broken Salad Shooter that was used as a white elephant Christmas gift the year before...and the box still had "White Elephant Gift" written on it with a sharpie.

We got a glass sectioned serving tray straight from the 70s. The box had definitely been around that long, and the tape was all funky looking... I'm pretty sure it was a re-gift. Good thing I can't really remember who gave it to us.

I got a cookbook that had a card stuck in the back that was addressed to the person that gave me the gift. They re-gifted it and forgot to take out the card.
Tacky!!!

A clear plastic picture frame made to look like crystal with bright pink roses on it and a picture of the guest in it.
I thought--plastic? Are you sure that was for a wedding instead of a kids birthday party? Seriously it couldn't have cost more than $5.
The other tackiest thing was the gift I never got. My groomsmen kept telling me he bought me a gift but left it. So he'd ask us to drive to his house, but then he couldn't find it. So he called a couple weeks later to ask if he could come visit us at the beach and give it to us. Left it at home again. He kept on and on with the "I got you something--really". Both he and his wife have jobs and had gotten married a couple years earlier. We got them a gift. Seriously I wouldn't have minded him not getting us anything but it was the fact that he kept TELLING us he had bought it and asking us to drive to his house to pick it up that drove me crazy!

This was a gift from my husband's uncle and his wife and their two kids who bring in 8 MILLION dollars a year.... Oh and this was their gift to our shower... they didn't give us a wedding gift, even though they all came after NOT rsvping, and they let their 12 year old daughter bring a friend!

And I swear to you, it's even uglier in person than it is online! We sold it in a yard sale for $10

The wedding gift that was very inappropriate was a purse.
My husband said "I thought wedding gifts were the both of us?" So I told him "You can borrow it anytime you want."
Needless to say he wasn't very happy.

A bill from the honor bar in my husband's room that our "best man's" (and I use the term loosely) uninvited friends stole from.

I recieved a Rubbermaid set that was missing about 6 pieces out of a 24piece set. (The box was taped up, it had either been a store return item or my guest decided to take what they wanted and give me the rest).
-----------------------------
Oh and also... we got nothing from anyone in our bridal party, nada, zilch, zip. And we owe my husband's aunt some money she loaned him years back that we've been paying her on, her gift was knocking a hundred bucks off the loan. Crappy
