Post Polio Syndrome? How old are you? A lot of the illnesses you decribed PPS, CFS, EBS, CFS, FB all have similar symptoms. Is there a lab test for PPS? I think PPS is an exclusion diagnosis, among some of the other dx's you have listed that are sometimes considered an "exclusion diagnosis" (meaning the lab did not detect any other chronic illness or diagnosis) so it could be this....... Depression, anxiety can be associated. Obesity is associated. As far as your Chronic heart conditions you need to be under the care of a Cardiologist or CV Surgeon should you ever need to have surgery. He should recommend you lose wt not only to help your diabetes and high cholesterol but to lessen your arthritic type symptoms. I think many of us, if willing can itemize out all the various ailments we have but we choose not too. Please seek help for what is truly your diagnosis and I recommend possibly looking closely at yourself and accepting the fact that you may have a form of hypochondria. I am not trying to be mean or discredit any of your ailments but if you do have hypochondria, please seek help of a psych professional so that he/she may be able to help you get your life back.

That is a long list and some of those I dont even know.
But what is apparent is that some are the result of or are linked to another condition, primarily your obesity and this includes:
diabetes, fatigue, high blood pressure and cholesterol, bowel problems and the psychological problems.
So there is a common link; address the root and you can eliminate quiet a few of the issues.
And also you didnt specify if some of these have been medically diagnosed or if they are self-diagnosed which tends to happen a lot nowadays that so much information is right on the internet.

You don't give enough information for an accurate assessment, such as how these diagnoses were made, lab results, or physical findings.
The presence of immune system depression is a possibility, but most likely all are extensions of your bipolar disorder and anxiety/depression. Unfortunately, each doctor finds something to medicate and treat, based on their own field of interest (including me), but ultimately you are responsible for your life and health.
Unless definite evidence confirms your diagnosis(es), I suggest you drop it from your list.
The advice suggested by others has some weight, you need to correct your life style and focus on finding out what you can do, rather what you cannot do. I assume you are not a senior citizen, and there is no reason you cannot diet and exercise.
You would best be benefitted by psychosocial councelling, getting help from your religious counselor and your personal physician (note the singular tense - avoid too many physicians) and work with a dietician. It will take two years of steady effort to make significant progress, but your alternatives are limited.
Sometimes we need the fear of impending death to make changes in our lifestyle.

Hi Nora! You are not alone!! My list is probably as long as yours. It's amazing how many people on this website are in chronic pain or are handicapped. I haven't read the other answers, but I would bet that you won't get much sympathy here.
Nora, instead of seeing another M.D., see a D.O. That's a Doctor of Osteopathy. They have as much schooling as MD's, but they don't just throw pills at you. They try to get to the root of the problem. They are a doctor of bones. They can crack your bones like a chiropractor. They take a different approach to healing. I think a D.O. could help you a lot. Btw, D.O.s can write scripts, just like MD.
Good luck, hon. :)

Assuming you are not a hypochondriac?
It's caused by two primary things
1 - Environment. Are you exposed to bad things? Smoke? Drink? Poor diet? Low Exercise? All these you can change. Quit your crappy job. Get a better one. Eat right. Focus on you. Exercise. Dump loser friends. Get a cleaner / safer house or apt. etc. etc.
Bascially, Enviornment you can change.
2 - DNA. Your DNA, the basic programming of your life, is flawed. (we are all flawed). But you may be flawed in a specific way. And that "way" is in your Environment and it's making you sick. You can't change your DNA. We probably won't be albe to anytime soon, maybe never. So look to your Lifestyle, and the Choices you make to keep yourself healthy.
In the end, all DNA will degrades over time, until we die. It's up to you to keep it running smoothly.
good luck.

Have you considered adding hypochondria to your list? Doctors don't just discount serious disease. If you SAY you have all these issues, but they do not find any evidence to support it, then you're nuts.
Have you tried seeing an endocrinologist? One condition has the tendency to cause more. You know how when you star a medication for something, then you have all the side effects? Like, say you have a heart condition, then the medication fixes the heart condition but now you've got sexual side-effects, nausea, bowel problems, etc? It's like you're trading one condition for five more.

Ah, my dear, you are being faced with a great opportunity. I know it feels to you like torture, almost like you are a victim of circumstance...why should you have so many ailments when other people lead similar lifestyles and are well? Nevermind with any of that. It's time for a diet and lifestyle overhaul! I don't know much about your diet and daily habits, but I can tell from the list of "diseases" you have been diagnosed with that it's probably not the best situation. All I can do is suggest what will help and it is up to you to maintain a positive mindset and make the changes.
Since I don't know your metabolic type or certain facets of your biochemistry I need to know to give you a customized diet, I will give you some very general recommendation to get started on a full body cleanse. One thing that is certain is that you are toxic, and you need to alleviate the chemical load on yourbody. This will alleviate most of your issues, if not all. When cleansing we must first begin with the colon, since we need to clear a path for wastes and toxins to exit during the rest of the cleanse. I recommend you go on a special fast for a minimum of 7 days. The fast includes coconut oil (a healthy source of fat and great for cleansing and increasing metabolism and lowers cholesterol), spirulina (remarkable cleanser, great for pulling heavy metals out of the body and very nutrient dense), chia seed (rich in soluble fiber which binds up with toxins and escorts them out of the body) and fresh pressed vegetable juices. These three things will give you more than enough nutrition (probably more than you have been getting anyway) to stay on the fast for an extended period of time and allow your body to clean itself up. It will also alkalize your body, as I believe you are extremely acidic right now.
Here are a few recommendations for juice recipes:
green apple/celery/cucumber/lemon
parsley/green apple/lemon/carrot
celery/green apple/carrot/blueberry
You MUST juice the produce yourself at home.....bottled juice has little nutritional benefit and will not work for fasting. The reason I am including lots of celery, cucumber and parlsey is because these juices are natural diuretics and assist with hypertension. The fruit juices included are for a bit of flavor, vitamin C and other important nutrients. In addition to your juice, take:
Trumans CAC colon and liver cleanser. Get the tincture in the 16oz bottle from www.herbalremedies.com. It will cleanse the colon and help the liver detoxify wastes that are liberated by the cleanse. I have been personally using and recommending this product to clients for years. It is excellent stuff.
2-4 tablespoons of Nutiva organic coconut oil daily. You can mix it in your juice or take it by the spoonful. However you like.
2-4 tablespoons of organic chia seeds (www.mountainroseherbs.com) daily. Take each spoon with a full glass of water as chia absorbs 10 times it weight in water. This water holding property helps you balance your electrolytes and stay hydrated all day long. Chia also provides important minerals, fatty acids and fiber. Fiber is vital during a cleanse so don't skimp on the chia.
Spirulina, at least 1 tablespoon a day. SLOWLY work up to this amount (begin with about 1/4 teaspoon and increase by the same amount each day) or you will experience a strong cleansing response....feels kind of like a bad flu. Go slowly and drink your water and this won't happen. Speaking of water....
Follow this water protocol as closely as possible. It is very important. You must get at least 2 quarts, preferably 3, of clean, pure water each day. To each quart, add 1/4 teaspoon of good quality sea salt to replace the missing sodium in your diet. You want to keep your electrolytes balanced and this will help greatly.
Upon awakening, drink a glass of water that you place at your bedside the night before. Do this before you even get out of bed. Once you are up, have another glass of water. This helps flush and rehydrate the kidneys and GI tract as they become dehydrated while you sleep. Throughout the day, slowly drink the rest of your water so it can be absorbed into your tissues and not pass right through. You will see results within a few days of beginning this method of ingesting water.
In addition, I highly recommend you read The Magic is in the Extra Mile by Larry DiAngi. This book will help you understand how your mind controls your health and your life, and how to change it. I also recomend you begin a meditation program, as no healing regime is complete without it. I personally use the Ultra Meditation cds from Mind Tek, but there are lots of ways to meditate if you just look around.
The closer you stick to this fast and the longer you stay on it, the better your results. You need a major detox for your body to recover. However, I am positive you CAN recover. You just need to realize that YOU are in control of your health, not any doctor.
