You seem to enjoy calling Muslims things like "backward fundamentalists", but then you get responses from Christians like Jesussaves, who said: "why is thier (sic) god (small "g") so small that a teddy bear can defile him........pitiful diety" (sic)

Or like the all-loving Christian Fish:"They should be, insulting a poor teddy bear like that."

Muslims issue Jihads when their god is caricatured, but American Christians deny gay people their rights....

Muslims stone adulteresses, but American Christians (and Pro-Lifers, adding insult to injury) oppose highly potential life-saving biotechnologies that may come from Stem-Cell Research...

How different is this from a Muslim's view? Is the pot calling the kettle black?

I think there are many Christians who are so ignorant about Islam that they actually disbelieve that it CAN be a religion of peace. You can blame Christian leaders, such as John Hagee, for that. If I had a dollar for every sermon Hagee preached where he claimed that Muslims are all evil, I'd be rich.

Not all Christians do the things you've claimed we do. I'm by no means an "example" for anyone, but I don't do these things to Muslims. I disagree with them, but I don't insult them.

p.s. -- not all Muslims believe in issuing "Jihads" or that stoning an adulteress is acceptable.

Its not the Muslim god that is characterized, its their so-called prophet. And really, the Christians have stopped murdering people for having a different opinion on life . Muslims want to drag the world back into the 15 th century with its old laws and slavery etc. Plus, the Christians have developed a sense of humour. They laugh along with cartoons of Jesus.
So, no, its not the pot calling the kettle black. after all, they aren't killing people who want to do stem cell research. And Muslims also deny gay people their rights, by murdering them. Sharia law also denies women their rights. No christian law does that

Alright, you know what? We need to end this stem-cell crap once and for all. Most Christians I know have NO PROBLEM with stem cell research. What many of us DO have a problem with is EMBRYONIC stem cell research.

You know what the biggest problem with embryonic stem cell research is? People keep touting it as the "next big thing" yet they've gotten more results from ADULT stem cells. Look it up!

I would like to go on record, however, as saying there's no excuse for insulting another religion, or its adherents. It just isn't respectful, and does nothing to encourage meaningful dialogue. If we can't have peace HERE between Muslims and Christians, how can we expect to have it anywhere else?

I think you have Christains confused with what science is doing,, You ask how can we call the kettle black, when you see death in the teachings of the islamic faith, Then you can say it is black. So friend let's get the difference between what TRUE Christians are & what science is doing. & also what the Muslims are doing, like hiding behind women & children so the USA can not shoot them in a time of war.

you honestly think that a public beheading is the same sort of atrocity as prohibiting same-sex marriage.

(no question mark. your question shows you do).

stop pretending to be an atheist. you are too stupid.
