Unless it was in a complete vacuum, then yes gravity would force it to drop to the ground.

Doh! - I forgot to add "without gravity"!

This is a silly question that any high-school dropout should know the answer to.

A bullet is the same as a rock - you throw a rock and as it slows down it falls. The same with a bullet - it's just a chunk of metal propelled by an explosion and it too performs the same drop as it slows. Note - the drop and the slowing are not directly related. The drop is due to gravity and the slowing is due to air-resistance.

In space a bullet fired would be affected solely by gravitational forces from planets etc.

yes, gravity would cause the projectile to eventually fall to earth. A really interesting experiment is to fire a rifle parallel to the earth and at the same time, drop a bullet of the same weight, from the same height as the rifle barrel. The bullet dropped, and the bullet fired, will both hit the ground at exactly the same time.

When you learn to spell "bullets" I'll discuss firearms with you. Until then your obviously not prepared enough to own, shoot or even hold a real firearm.
