roll down the drs window push the lock button or turn and hold the key to lock a second that arms the system reach in manually unlock and in 2 munutes open the door from inside. Honk and head light flash. Please do not test the immobilizer by using a non programed key more than 4 times this causes the car to enter lock mode and you will have to tow it to the dealership to get all the keys reprogramed. ANY lock problems always gather all the keys and remotes so Nissan Technician can check them all out. There is no glass breakage or sound sensor just doors hood and trunck switches.

First roll down the windows then lock the doors so that the alarm is armed. Manually unlock the door and open it. If the alarm sounds it works. If it doesn't then somethings wrong

On some alarms you can test them by holding down all the buttons which makes it go off, or push down on the shocks(depends how sensitive the alarm is set). Some alarms can be set off if the airvents(heaters) are left open. If all else fails try the last one. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU A BIT

Often a good thump on a window with your fist will set an alarm off. Don't worry, you'll hurt your hand before the window breaks!
