poodle (toy or teacup)
chihuahua (long coat or short coat, i've had both and they were marvelous critters)
yorkie
jack russel terriers (though the dogs of this breed i'v met tend to be very bossy and territorial, cute and not very big, but the jury is out on the loveable part, though i'm sure they are just not to me)
