Miss Foxy, About 25 years ago I had a little 6 inch black and white T.V. that I used for camping. It was before our town had cable and I picked up the sound from channel 9,WGN I heard a woman"s giggle and I fell head over heels in love ! A few years later I saw the woman on cable and low and behold she was an African American beauty !

In my case, I would not call it jungle fever. With one exception, I have always dated a different race and always will. My flavour you ask. Well I prefer either Italian or British women. Everyone has their own preferences and I say seek your own preference. Whoever came up with this crap that you shouldn't date or marry a different nationality is a moron!!!

I don't really appreciate the term "jungle fever" but I've never let race come between me and a potentially great relationship. I've dated white, hispanic, black, asian, and mixed men. My boyfriend now is Arabic. Color doen't matter to me. I'm of mixed heritage so color????What's that????

I am a black woman married to a white man. I dated all races and he was the one for me. It had nothing to do with his race, I liked the person that he was not the color of his skin. We own a house and have two kids and do foster care. We are happy and nobody can change. Our families never had a problem with it and even if they did who cares. We married each other not the family members.

I am Latina and love white guys. I don't know why but even though Latin men are sexy to me and other races as well, white guys have my heart. I think interracial dating should just be called dating now, so many people are mixed now it's more common.

I'm a white chick and I've never actually dated a white guy. It's not that I don't like them, just that I live in a very ethnically diverse place and the guys I have dated have just happened to have been Chinese, Black, and Indian.

I have, I have dated a black guy and an Asian guy. Because I liked their looks and personalities. I found the black guy just too soft acting and spacey and the asian guy too restrictive. I know these people are not representative of their race in particular. Personally, I think I am better off dating my own race. It's no offense to other races - I just think I am better off dating men from middle-class white families like me.

I believe you should date or marry who ever you want. Before I got married I dated, black, white, asian, hisphanics, Native American.

I just happened to chose a Mexican as my husband. Our views are totally different on alot of things but one thing that isn't different is our love for each other.

yeah i would be scared if his culture is far too different than mine. However, if you think that you can get along with his culture, then go for it....races dont matter...

i will be scared of jungle because you need your family to support you in all good or bad times. But again, if you are comfortable with his family anf rituals / beliefs , dont let him go because of his race.

My bf is not of my country but we are from neighbour countries . We get along preety good ...

I don't find a problem with dating out of your race....I for one have dated both sides of the fence...No difference except colour.....Actually the kids are beautiful coming from a mix breed.......To me it is a personal thing.....Not every one will date or marry out of their own race...but thats ok too. I believe it is what ever you feel comfortable doing........and not worrying about how others feel.....It is about the =indidvidual.....It is a beautiful world out there...if we didn't have a walks of life...we wouldn't have a world....
