My Boyfriend made me a Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwich last night and now I can't get it out of my head! It was SO YUMMY!! I am on a MAJOR Health Kick and need to stick to my low Cal diet to loose my last 15lbs I need to become "healthy"

So I am asking you... Just how bad is it for you??

just read the label 2tbp. of peanut butter is 1/4 of your daily total fat intake (if you're on a 2000 cal. diet, if your trying to loose weight it's more like 1/2 of what you should have per day). Not to mention the 3g of saturated fat! (I just happen to have a jar of peanut butter here at my desk). The bread as you know is a killer, and the honey is pretty much condensed sugar, which takes a lot to burn and is fast to turn into fat.
Yes, these things are damn good, and yes too many of those and it'll be easier to roll than to walk.

It makes me cry too :'-(

Peanut butter does provide "good" fat and protein, but both peanut butter and especially honey are often quite high in sugar (read: calories). A good alternative would be reduced-sugar peanut butter, which they make now, and spreadable fruit or reduced-sugar jam/preserves, or slices of actual fruit like an apple.
