She is still active, eating, drinking and has been vaccinated, she has not left the house since I got her on Saturday, I started switching foods, could this be it?

If you have no suggestions for my question and just want to harass me for my choice of calling my puppy a "Shiffon" don't post anything about her being a mutt has nothing to do with her little problem. I know she is a mutt and don't appreciate the comments thank you!

Yes, most likely it is the change over in foods. You should be doing this very, very slowly so the reaction will be minimal. Back off the new food for a day or two then re introduce it a few pieces at a time. Or if you have a 1/8 cup measure do it by that measure ok.

Any time you switch food your dog will get diarrhea. You need to switch food slowly, if 1/4 new food to 3/4 old food for a day then 1/2 and 1/2 and then 3/4 new to 1/4 old then all the new food.

yes it probably is the food, or you are changing it too much. when changing the food you should gradually mix it into the food she has eaten when you got her. you havent had her for a long time so I would give it atleased a week to get her stomache used to the new food before changing it again. constantly changing the food may be what the problem is. where did you get her from? what food did they feed her? maybe it could be the change of a new home! just give her time to adjust to her new living arraingements you will see a big change in her eating and her pooing, get her on a schedual as soon as possible.

Switching foods could definitely do it, but at such a young age, diarrhea is really dangerous. Has she been tested for various diseases (like Parvo)? I think I'd recommend a trip to the vet. Try to take a stool sample in a baggie if possible. It will help them diagnose what's wrong with her.
Good luck! :)

You might be right about the food switch. It might just be a bacteria in her GI like ghiardia. You should have your vet see her and do a fecal on her. many puppies and kittens get this and it is easily cured with some antibodies and Albon or something like that. Just see your vet.

yes switching food in puppies do give them the diarrhea until they get old enough to handle the change, get some hamburger and boil it and then make some white rice, mix them together and only give her that for a few days or until she has a normal poop

First, puppy stores (chains) are notorious for selling sick puppies....don't know where you obtained yours.
Could be the change of food-you should be mixing the old and new for at least 2 weeks. Crappy dog food can do it, treats, table scraps, stress, sickness...
IF she starts avoiding food, vommiting, or is lethargic, go to the vet IMMEDIATELY.

yep switching foods will cause diarrhea at any age. Pick a food for her and stick with it. Try, I know it's hard, to not give her people food. Turkey will give your pooch a big time case of the runs.

Yes the food swithcing can make dogs have tummy bugs. My dog is eight but we changed his food some time ago and he was sick and had diorreah. Hes fine now and back on the same food. Some dogs dont suffer with it at all.

food switches coupled with the stress of a new environment can often cause the runs if done together or too quickly.
What the heck is a shiffon? Oh, you must mean your mutt, there is NO SUCH THING as a "shiffon." UGH.
