i might sound thick!!!!but is it really just that?baked twice?if so,whats the point?

well you bake the potato and then take it out open it smash up the insides and add some seasonings like salt pepper,cheese, whatever you like then bake it again! so you get a nice golden crisp on the top! its SO good!

You bake a potato as normal. Then cut a bit of it off, scoop out the insides, and mash with sour cream, garlic, maybe a smidge of milk, and pack it back into the little boat you've made. Then top with cheese and bake again until it's heated through. There are a ton of variations on this.

It's 1/2's of potato, baked. Then you scoop out the potato from the skins, mash it and add butter, spices, ranch dressing, whatever your taste buds require. Refill skins with potato mixture, cover with cheese and bake until cheese is melted golden brown. YUM!

THE BEST TWICE BAKED POTATOES ACTUALLY ARE BAKED TIL DONE , COOLED , PUT IN A COOLER OVERNIGHT , SCOOPED OUT , MASHED W/ A SMALL AMOUNT OF MILK , RE-STUFFED W/ ALL YOU FAV GOODIES THEN RE-HEATED IN THE OVEN + TOPPED W/ MORE GOODNESS

No its actually baked half the time and they just call it twice baked because its the opposite of twice baked which is half balked like the movie.

it is baked once. next i scoop out the unside add cream cheese, chives, bacon and cheese. put it in a bag snip the corner and fill the empty potaoe shells back up put back in the oven until tops are golden brown YUUUUUMMMMM
