I am thinking of getting each of them a small gift, just as a thank you.
I have known one of them for 6 years
I have known the other one for 1 month
and I have known all the others since I started working there for 1 year.

I was once told that Gift Cards are the way to go.

I was thinking of getting the person I've known for 6 years a Starbucks gift card, since she's always drinking Starbucks. How much should the gift card be?

And maybe I can get all the others Mall Dollars....how much should they be?
I know they will probably ask each other how much they got, but I don't know if I should give them all the same amount, especially the lady who i've known for 6 years. What should I do??

Giving them gifts is a nice idea, and gift cards are good. To avoid feelings of favoritism it would probably be good to give them all the same amount. The amount of the gift card depends on how many people you are talking about and how much you want to spend total.

Kathy,
are u their boss ? if so
the one - 6 yrs = Starbucks for 2-3 cups per yr. about 75$
the others gift cards in their interst = 35$
the 1 month gift card = 20$
are u not the boss?
then don't worry about the one monther a card would be nice.

I'd get the same amount for each person, regardless of the amount that you choose to spend.

Then if you are additionally friends outside of work with the person you've known for 6 years, give that person a gift like you would normally buy for a friend.

Give them all the SAME gift. Gift cards - starbucks, blockbuster, or $25 american express gift checks, 2 movie tickets... whatever your budget allows...

I was in a supervisor/management position for nine years. My advise is to give them all the same thing to stay away from favoritism issues. That way no one is singled out and no one can cause any problems for you. I have been in this same situation and believe me we don't want to draw anyunnecessary problems to ourselves.
